My Little Brother Joey

I love this Boy.

(and that beautiful little angel he is holding!)

Whenever I come home for the weekend, he makes me feel so loved,

& welcomes me with a big hug!

I LOVE HIM.

He wakes me up every morning I'm there and cuddles with me.

How many little brothers cuddle with you at 3 years old?

But then he asks me to make him french toast...I think cuddling with me is his way to get what he wants.

I just finished talking to a guy about the church
I was pretty upset when I finally ended the conversation because of some of the things he was saying.
How can someone have such hard feelings towards the church?

I then started talking to Lance about it.
he said that he had people say things to him like that all the time on his mission
(he came home just 6 weeks ago)

I really wanted so badly to just prove this guy wrong, but Lance finally explained that there is nothing we can do with people like that. He said he tried to at first, but realized that there is nothing we can say or do to change minds of people like that. It is up to them.

This guy I was talking to kept saying things like

"you feel that way based on false information, fake experiences, and lies founded by someone who was completely untrustworthy"

WHAT????? No, I feel this way based on experiences this past year that I couldn't have gotten through without the gospel. I feel this way based on how I felt in the hospital with Avery. Based on how extremely calm I felt when signing relinquishment papers. Based on Family. Based on the overwhelming feeling I felt when I met Dustin and Andrea.
I wouldn't have gotten through any of this without the gospel. It kills me when people don't feel the same way. I wish they did.
and on top of the whole adoption,
I wouldn't have gotten through Keltsons death. He died two weeks before Avery was born. I wouldn't have lived without the gospel and knowing I will see him again. I wouldn't have gotten through anything without the priesthood blessings I received.

I wish he understood.
I wish everyone understood.

I love this gospel.

Tired

This is how I feel. (Thanks for your help Kim)

I'm tired.

Of a lot of things.

mostly the fact the one particular roomate of mine ALWAYS uses my food.

most of you know that I DO NOT have a job,

and that I'm literally living off of nickels and dimes.

So when someone thinks that what's mine is theirs...

I don't exactly appreciate it.

I love all my roomates.

But when they use my stuff,

I get a little annoyed.

There are times when I'm making food, and there is a lot of it, so yes I'm going to offer them some.

But that DOESN'T mean I am giving an open invitation for anyone to use my food whenever they please.

I am living on a tight budget.

I currently am out of milk.

and almost out of cheese.

I would prefer to NOT be out of anything else in the near future.

That is all.

Masquerade! Paper faces on parade...

Friday Night I went to a masquerade with my friends.

Keara had an extra ticket.

Keara is AWESOME. I didn't tell her I could go until less than 24 hours before the party,

and when I told her I could,

she made me this awesome mask.

I LOVE HER!

we seriously danced like CRAZY. I was dying of heat and sweating like a pig once it was over...can you tell??
